“If you want to be happy, set a goal that commands your thoughts, liberates your energy, and inspires your hopes.”
- Andrew Carnegie
The International Coaching Federation defines coaching “as partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential. The process of coaching often unlocks previously untapped sources of imagination, productivity and leadership.”
I would also add that professional coaching also adheres to a strict code of Ethics that is clearly defined so that client and coach are clean and clear on their roles and responsibilities and from this safe space creatively explore deep and inspirational topics. I personally subscribe to the code of ethics from the International Coaching Federation as a member of the ICF.

I also see professional coaching in its purest form as a safe place of no advice is given. This is sometimes contrary to how people envision a coaching experience. As a professional coach, we see that the power of transformation and integration comes from the process of deep exploration through deep and meaningful questions that tap into values, strengths and resourceful identities. This powerful process creates profound and lasting change.

My coaching philosophy at Inner Genius
One Client…One Powerful Coaching Conversation at a time
My coaching practice is firmly grounded on the following powerful principles:
We are all doing the best they can with what we know
We have everything inside of us required to be successful
Everything we do has a positive intention
Everything outside of us is just information and is out of our control
We are 100% accountable to the results we create
Change is the only constant in life
All companies would benefit from having a professional success coach on staff, but many do not have the budget, this is where I come in.

Although as a business success coach there will need to be many conversations around business life, I am a true believer that we need to coach the whole person (Holistic) to have profound and sustainable change. To be honest, if was as easy as setting goals and crushing them, we would all be living the life of our dreams, with vibrant health, deep relationships and incredible business success.
The holistic approach looks at all aspects of life and business with the mind, body and spirit always being considered. When we consciously align with our values in all aspects of life, we release our creative energy, and we get to see what is truly important. From this space of holistic alignment, we will more naturally and joyfully unleash our skills and abilities resulting setting and crushing goals that matter to us at our core.

“I never cease to be amazed at the power of the coaching process to draw out the skills or talent that was previously hidden within an individual, and which invariably finds a way to solve a problem previously thought unsolvable.”
- John Russell
